Horrible People

Horrible People follows Joey, Tyrone, and Sarah — three socially stunted friends whose attempts to do normal things like see a movie, go on a date, or order fast food always implode into surreal chaos, escalating violence, and metaphysical interference by supernatural commentators. While Tyrone observes life with cowboy stoicism and Sarah dissociates through nihilistic clarity, Joey futilely pursues genuine connection, mostly with Sarah, but also with a universe that refuses to reward sincerity.
